Child welfare

If school is closed

Our school’s opening times are 8.00am until 4.00pm Monday to Friday. Outside these times, you will not be able to contact the Designated Safeguarding Lead or the Designated Safeguarding Deputies; any messages left will be responded to when we return to school.

If you have any concerns about the welfare of a child or young person during these times, please contact the Sheffield Safeguarding Hub on 0114 2734855.  If you think a child or a young person is in immediate danger, please call 999 and ask to speak to the Police.
 
If you are a child or young person and are worried or feel unsafe then you can get help from Childline <https://www.childline.org.uk/get-support/1-2-1-counsellor-chat/> a free, private and confidential service. You can chat online or on the phone, 0800 1111, any time.

During school hours

Contact the school on 0114 2550926 and ask to speak to Miss Sara Ahmed (Designated Safeguarding Lead) or one of our Deputy Safeguarding Leads:  Mrs Michele Nott, Ms Anne Robson or Ms Sajida Afzal.

We expect all staff and visitors to share this commitment. Our staff are trained at regular intervals and are aware of how to keep our pupils safe and what signs to look for. Our pupils are encouraged to share any concerns that they have.
We are fully committed to ensuring that consistent effective procedures support families, children and staff who are part of our school.
