They have been reading his book ‘The Girl and the Goldcrest’ as a class and so had lots of questions and a wonderful discussion with him.

This is what he told me afterwards:

“I’ve just had an inspirational lesson with Mrs Layton’s Y6 class. They were buzzing with enthusiasm and questions, and many hands went up every time I asked a question.

I was very impressed with the enthusiasm Ms Layton has obviously engendered in such a brilliant class.”
